Discovering mosquitoes...

Mark Disbury (Isla's dad) is a mosquito expert.  He taught us so much about mosquitoes, and then we got to capture larvae from a tyre (where mosquitoes love to live) with a pipette and put it into a sample jar.  It was so much fun!

Tokoeka's mihi whakatau

Our mihi whakatau this morning went so well.  We have so many people to thank:
  • All our whānau who were able to come this morning - your presence was so appreciated
  • Ngahere tamariki who taught us Te Waka, and supported us today
  • Sheridan for doing our ribbon cutting
  • Mr Webby for delivering a whaikōrero
  • Whaea Raima for helping us make sure we had everything in the right order
  • Mrs Hunt for delivering the heated up morning tea, and the tea and coffee
  • Mr Chalmers for taking these great photos for our blog
  • Ourselves for giving 100% to our mihi whakatau and making our teacher incredibly proud!
