Manaakitanga...

We are learning about manaakitanga this week - the process of showing respect, generosity and care for others.  As part of practicing aroha mai (love in), aroha atu (out), we all showed kindness to each other by writing a compliment to our peers anonymously (aroha atu).

We then all got to read the kind things our classmates had said about us (aroha mai), and some of the words we used to describe how it felt reading them afterwards were: happy, excited, joyful, that our class thought we were a kind person, excited, pleased... nothing but positive!  Our buckets were very full today.
